Ready for your next vacation or getaway? Wandering Foodie suggests a Thai Adventure.  A new place that’s culturally stimulating and relaxing at that the same time.

If you are looking to escape to a foreign, exotic and affordable land there is no greater place than a Thai Adventure. Full of great food and many opportunities for new experiences.

If the pristine white beaches and the relaxing atmosphere don’t win you over the food and people will. Not only is it one of the most beautiful places on earth, but there are endless sites, attractions and excursions for any type Foodie or Wanderer

Thailand has over 1,500 miles of coastline, and just off many of these are some of the best dive sites in the world.

So go get your Adventure hat on and try diving to explore prime spots under the sea,

visitors are surely bound to find at least one that catches their eye.

Elephant sanctuaries are great for tourists who are animal lovers and for the more spiritual over 40,000 Buddhist temples found across the Land of Smiles.

The more adventurous can go for  a day on one of the country’s many rivers and go white water rafting. There are also trails to be trekked, waves to be surfed, jungles to be zip lined through, and more in Thailand.

Do Not leave without trying the Thai Food. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Som Tam

In fact Thai food is so delicious and diverse that visitors should never have to eat the same dish twice.
Visitors will find that the cuisine changes as their location does, keeping your food options interesting as they venture from one city to the next.
Do not miss!

Som Tam:
This dish combines all five tastes; sour, hot, salty, savory and sweetness and mixes it together. In English this dish can be translated to ‘green papaya salad’. You can order a veg and a no-veg version.

Throughout cities in Thailand, this dish is one of the staples of street food cooking and dining. It’s fresh, easy to prepare, and tastes wonderful. There are again many different variations for this meal, some including fermented fish sauce or salted preserved egg.

Pad Thai:

I’m probably not supposed to play favorites, but this dish is definitely my favorite.

Pad Thai is the epitome of simple ingredients creating dazzling flavor. It’s fresh, light and exotic. This dish of thin rice noodles stir-fried with egg, tofu and shrimp, and seasoned with fish sauce, sugar, tamarind, vinegar and dried chili has subsequently reigned as the favourite Thai cuisine. And vegetarian versions are always available.

The clothing for your Thailand trip can be very relaxed apart for when visiting temples. Do remember to be cover your shoulders and knees. It is always safe to dress comfortably and in a culturally respectful way.
